What we checked: The repo moved to github.com/anmolitor/elm-placeholder. Rebuilt with git archive from commit 874bfab817a1 of https://github.com/anmolitor/elm-placeholder (zip prefix andreasewering-elm-placeholder-874bfab/, America/Los_Angeles times): the zip is byte-identical to the one package.elm-lang.org recorded, SHA-1 1acf16b2e831c9dfb60b1add211c62fafa34b2ba.
The Lamdera compiler uses this copy and prints a one-line notice saying so. elm itself fails to download this version.

This library exists as an typesafe alternative to String interpolation via Regex. Strings are parsed into functions that interpolate arguments at the specified positions, which means that contrary to the Regex approach, parsing will fail if there is an unexpected amount of declared placeholders.
At the moment, this module supports interpolation via {{double curly bracket}} syntax. The internals needed to support a different syntax are exposed.
