Rerouted (archive, verified). The original repository is gone. This copy comes from an archive (Software Heritage). The Lamdera package server serves a copy recovered from swh:1:rev:52028dc815e2fc79f1b89928c7093b2f96f2cac3 (Software Heritage, origin https://github.com/carpe/elm-data).
What we checked: Software Heritage archived tag 2.0.0 of github.com/carpe/elm-data at commit 52028dc815e2; its commit 52028dc815e2 is from 2020-01-29 18:00 UTC, before the version was published (2020-01-29 18:13 UTC); elm.json is byte-identical to package.elm-lang.org's; the exposed modules match docs.json; the zip is our own, made from Software Heritage's copy of the files Elm uses, so its SHA-1 is not the published one.
The Lamdera compiler uses this copy and prints a one-line notice saying so. elm itself fails to download this version.

This project exists to help manage the lifecycle of data from external sources as it flows through your applications. This includes DAOs for helping to make requests (both authenticated AND unauthenticated) to APIs, helpers for decoding and utilizing JWTs, and so much more.
Install the package with:
elm install carpe/elm-dataA DAO is used to wrap any necessary Configuration/Settings needed in order for your Elm application to communicate with an API.
I recommend you create them and store them in the top level of your application.
Resources are used to make requests. You can create them by providing them with a DAO instance.
A Resource is used to make requests that target a single record. (i.e. SHOW/CREATE/UPDATE)
A ListResource is used to make requests that target multiple records. (i.e. INDEX/DELETE)
